NHSRCL in its endeavour to fight against Corona is taking multiple steps at various levels in order to ensure that we come out stronger from this calamity. Various steps are being undertaken like distributing food items to the needy and underprivileged class, distributing masks and sanitation items to its construction workers working at its construction sites and also promoting awareness messages about social distancing etc. through social media and requesting everyone to follow the authentic information on government websites.
In continuation of the same, following activities were undertaken in last week
- Distribution of food items in Dungra village of Vapi district in Gujarat on 28th Mar 2020
- Distribution of food items amongst poor tribal families and families of daily wage earners in Alunj and Umawada villages of Bharuch districts as per the direction of district authority on 29th Mar 2020
- Distribution of face masks and sanitisers/soaps to construction workers at Sabarmati Passenger hub construction site in Sabarmati, Ahmedabad
In these difficult times, Managing Director, NHSRCL, Mr. Achal Khare said, "NHSRCL family is doing its every bit to help out the people and the government in this extraordinary situation. Hostel building of HSRTI (High Speed Rail Training Institute) in Vadodara will now be used as a quarantine centre for the patients, plus food packages and medical supplies such as masks are also being distributed to our project workers who are currently residing at our project shelter camps.
Moreover, NHSRCL’s team is working from home to ensure that the project related work does not get stopped or hampered due to the on-going lockdown. We assure that all pending documentations/payments related to land acquisition or any other open matters gets smoothly completed"
