Name of the contract: Design and construction of Civil and Building works including Testing and commissioning of 237 kms length of mainline for Mumbai- Ahmedabad High Speed Rail corridor
Alignment: Between Zaroli village at Maharashtra- Gujarat Border and Vadodara in the state of Gurjarat, (length: 237.10 km i.e 47% of total alignment of 508 km), elevated except one mountain tunnel of about 280m. 24 nos of river crossings and 30 nos of road & canal crossings.
Stations: 04, Vapi, Bilimora, Surat and Bharuch (all in Gujarat)
Time lines: 42 months (Bid preparation time is 4 months with the closing date of 15th July 2019)
Current status of the project:
About 30 % of the land required for the project has been acquired, NHSRCL expects that by the time the tender will be finalised i.e by November 2019, the required land would be available.
