River bridge on Vatrak River, Kheda district, Gujarat has been completed on 20th August 2024 for the Bullet Train Project.
Salient features of Vatrak River bridge are:
- Length: 280 meters
- Consists of 7 Full Span Girders (40 meters each)
- Height of Piers – 9 to 16 meters
- 08 circular piers of 3.5 m and 4 m diameter
- This bridge is in between Anand and Ahmedabad Bullet Train station. Other completed river between the two stations is Mohar River
- This is the 10th river bridge out of 24 river bridges planned for Bullet Train project
- The river originates in the hills of Dungarpur, Rajasthan and enters in Gujarat near village Moydi of Meghraj taluka
- Vatrak river is 25 kms from Anand Bullet Train station and 30 kms from Ahmedabad Bullet Train station
