River bridge on Kolak River, Valsad district, Gujarat has been completed for the Bullet Train project.
Salient features of Kolak River bridge are:
- Length: 160 meters
- Consists of 4 Full Span Girders (40 meters each)
- Height of Piers – 14 m to 23 m
- Circular piers of 4 m (2 Nos.) and 5 m diameter (3 Nos.)
- This bridge is in between Vapi and Bilimora Bullet Train station. Other completed rivers between two stations are Auranga and Par River
- The river originates from Saputara hills near Valveri and meets in Arabian sea
- Kolak river is 7 kms from Vapi Bullet Train station and 43 kms from Bilimora Bullet Train station
