Profile of Shri Shailesh Kumar Mishra, Chief Vigilance Officer

Sh. Shailesh Kumar Mishra, an officer of Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE- 1991), joined NHSRCL as CVO on 1st September 2021.  His educational qualification includes BE / Civil Engineering from B.I.T Sindri and M Tech./ Civil engineering, from IIT Kanpur.   

He has vast experience of working in different capacities in Railways, DMRC and Railway Board. His experience in Railway includes working in construction, maintenance, track procurement, planning, vigilance and administration. While working in DMRC (1999 to 2004), he was mainly responsible for the construction of Train Maintenance Depot at Shastripark and elevated viaduct of Dwarka Line of Delhi Metro Ph-1. As Executive Director in Railway Board, he was associated with planning of long-term capacity enhancement project and monitoring of National Infrastructure Pipeline projects of Ministry of Railways.

He studied various metro system in India & abroad and presented technical papers in International/National Journal and Conferences. He also received General Manager and Railway Minister award for his outstanding contribution in Railways.
