National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited invites bids for Design, Manufacture, Supply, Construction, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 2 x 25 kV Power Supply Electrification System for MAHSR. Last date for bid submission is 17th April 2023.
EW-1 package is “Design, Manufacture, Supply, Construction, Installation, Testing and Commissioning” of 2x25 kV Power Supply Electrification System (Traction Power Supply, Distribution Power Supply, Overhead Equipment) for entire 508 km stretch of Mumbai Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Corridor (MAHSR).
Above works would be suitable for running high speed trains at speeds up to 320 km/h and major systems are:
- Traction Power Supply System which includes 14 nos. of Traction substations and associated works
- Distribution Power Supply system for non-traction loads
- Overhead Equipment (OHE) for entire 508 km stretch and Depots.
Under “Make in India” provisions, material and equipment for Power Supply & OHE to be sourced from India include various types of transformers, switchgears, protective devices, cables, steel pipe masts etc.
Some material and equipment which are proven on High-Speed Rail would be imported from Japan (e.g., Cantilever assemblies, Overhead conductors etc.).
